Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Kakyire Technologies ("we", "us") governing your use of the Rhemack app. By downloading or using Rhemack you accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app. If you download Rhemack from Apple's App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; if you download it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply.

What Rhemack does

Rhemack is a faith and focus app that provides:

• a thoughtfully selected daily Bible verse with an AI-assisted reflection, which can be personalized using details you optionally share during onboarding;
• optional app shielding that locks apps you choose until you've read today's verse — via Apple's Screen Time system on iOS, or Android's Accessibility Service on Android;
• favorites, verse history, reading streaks and consistency insights, stored on your device;
• an optional premium subscription that unlocks additional features.

No account is required. What the app stores, sends and measures is described in our Privacy Policy.

Your license to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Rhemack on devices you own or control, for personal and non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from (Apple's App Store or Google Play).

Premium subscriptions & purchases

Rhemack is free to download. Some features are unlocked by an optional premium subscription:

• Prices and billing periods are shown in the app before you buy. Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel them at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings — deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by the store you purchased through, under Apple's or Google's refund policies.
• We use RevenueCat to recognize your purchase and unlock premium features across launches, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• If a promotional or trial period is offered, its terms are shown in the app before you start it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of the app;
• reverse engineer or attempt to extract the app's source code, except where the law permits it;
• use the app in any unlawful way or to interfere with its operation or other users' enjoyment of it;
• misrepresent the app's content as your own or use it to build a competing dataset or service.

App blocking works with your consent

The shielding feature only operates after you explicitly enable it and choose which apps to protect — by granting Screen Time permission on iOS, or by enabling the Accessibility Service on Android after an in-app disclosure. You can change or revoke this at any time in the app or in your device settings. Rhemack is a self-discipline aid: it is not parental-control software, and we make no guarantee that shielding cannot be bypassed (for example, by removing the app or changing device settings).

AI-generated reflections

Verse reflections are generated with the help of third-party AI services and may be personalized using details you choose to share during onboarding. They are offered as devotional aids to support your own reading of Scripture. They are not professional advice of any kind — theological, pastoral, medical, legal or financial — and they may occasionally contain errors. Test everything against Scripture itself and, where appropriate, the counsel of your church community.

Intellectual property

The Rhemack name, icon, design and original content are owned by Kakyire Technologies and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Bible text remains subject to the terms of its respective translation. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.

Changes to the service

We actively develop Rhemack and may add, change or remove features, or discontinue the app, at any time. Where a change is significant, we will describe it in the release notes of the store where you got the app.

Disclaimer of warranties

Rhemack is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or that any particular spiritual or behavioural outcome will result from its use.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kakyire Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the app. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using Rhemack at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate the availability of the app or your license if you breach these Terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
